Back in the Swing

February 4, 2009

The grandparents left yesterday, Christer is back at work (he had a between-the-semester break last week), and Toby and I are trying to get back into our routine.  Except that when you’ve only been around for two months, you don’t really have much of a routine, do you?  He hasn’t napped for more than 20 minutes at a time all day–but I suppose I shouldn’t complain since he’s slept through the night for the past 3 nights.  Hmm, now that’s a routine I could get used to.

During those little naps (and sometimes while he’s been awake and cooing and watching from the side) I’ve gotten back into a bit of crafting today.  When I saw this post over at Sew Mama Sew today I was inspired (possessed?) to play along.  I don’t quilt, I have no dolls in need of quilts, I don’t really have much of a stash of fat quarters, but I guess I was just in need of a project.  And isn’t making a doll quilt more fun than laundry?

The Turtle is asleep in the wrap right now, and I have to wake him to feed him before we go to church tonight.  Finally asleep, and I have to wiggle him awake.  Bah.
